At the same time, he started a life-long research into the visual arts: his pieces have been exhibited in New York (Hofstra University), at the Stockholm International Art Exhibition, in Vienna (for the Italian Institute for Arts), at the Modern Arts Museum of Prague, in Innsbruck, Linz, (for the Government of high Austria), twice in Venice and Mestre,(for the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation), at the Venetian Art Museum (Otaru - Japan), twice at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona, in Portogruaro, in S. Donà di Piave, in Brindisi, Sant’Elpidio a Mare, Rome and many others.
He designed the images for the Italian national advertising campaign of the Quadrante Europa in Verona, which appeared in some of the biggest national newspapers.
On commission, for the Combonian and Verbitian Religious Orders he produced the 3 large painted portraits of Mons. Comboni, Mons. Freinademetz e Mons. Janssen, which have been exhibited during the Solemn Mass celebrations in the S. Pietro square in Rome. In that occasion, the Maestro has also been privately met by his Eminence Pope John Paul II (Karol Wojtyla).
He also painted, on commission, the portraits of the Nunzio Apostolico Cardinal Pio Laghi, Cardinal Angelo Sodano and of Cardinal Claudio Celli.
